Technical Notes

The clamping nut can be set to give a required thrust on the Belleville spring washers,
in order to increase resistance to the movement of the ball stud, the spring washers act as safety washers for the screws.
Once the max. thrust to the spring washers is reached the ball stud is firmly fixed in position.
