Telescopic Slides

Automotion Components have a wide range of telescopic slides to suit any application. From light duty pressed steel slides, to heavy duty cold drawn steel slides requiring high loads, long strokes, and low deflection, to AISI 316 stainless steel slides for highly corrosive environments. We have slides with strokes starting from as little as 75mm going up to 3 metres and capable of taking loads up to nearly 2000Kg per slide!

What are telescopic sldies?

Telescopic slides, also known as telescopic rails or drawer runners, are most commonly used in pairs. Typically used for sliding drawers, doors and platforms but can be used in any application where an item needs to travel in a linear fashion horizontally or vertically but where the application dictates a standard linear guide cannot be used due to the inability or undesire to have long guides spanning the full travel length.

Heavy Duty Telescopic Rails - L1984 Series

Our L1984 series is a very thin, yet heavy-duty, fully telescopic rail (100% extension). It comes in 4 different sizes 28 ,35, 43 and the very large 63 versions. The stroke range is from 300mm to 2 metres! Load capacity is from a relatively light 50Kg to an impressive 750Kg! (per rail). The rails have zinc coating as standard but can be specially plated against corrosion and supplied with stainless steel ball bearings.

Heavy Duty Telescopic Rails - L1986 Series

Our L1986 series is a heavy-duty, fully telescopic rail (100% extension). It comes in 5 different sizes 22, 28 ,35, 43 and the very large 63 versions. The stroke range is from 150mm to 2 metres! Load capacity is from a relatively light 12Kg to an impressive 720Kg! (per rail). The rails have zinc coating as standard but can be specially plated against corrosion and supplied with stainless steel ball bearings.

Heavy Duty Telescopic Rails - Partial Extension - L1994 Series

These are very strong, cold-drawn steel telescopic rails that typically extend to 50% of their length but this can be extended to a maximum of 65%. Their unique arrangement allow them to be also used in a double stroke method - i.e. stroking one way and then back the other way. They are very rigid with small amounts of deflection, and are available in 22, 28, 35, 43 and 63mm section versions. Loads from 30Kg to 3 tons! (per rail)

Automotion Components Ultra Heavy duty telescopic slides with 100% extension. Stroke ranges from 1000mm to 2260mm and load capacity per rail from to 800Kg up to an impressive 1980Kg!

Aluminium Telescopic Slides - 100% Extension

Automotion Components New range of Aluminium Telescopic slides with 100% extension. Profile sizes 30mm, 40mm, 50mm and 70mm. Stroke ranges from 300mm up to 2000mm and load ratings from 60Kg per pair up to 320Kg per pair.

AISI 316 Stainless Telescopic Slides

Automotion Components New range of AISI 316 stainless Telescopic slides with 100% extension. Profile sizes 40mm, 50mm and 70mm. Stroke ranges from 300mm up to 2000mm and load ratings from 60Kg per pair up to 470Kg per pair.

Light Duty Drawer Slides - L2000 - L2030

This series is the least expensive telescopic rails, also known as drawer slides. They are made from pressed steel, for light duty applications and are hot dip galvanised, but are still very reliable and cost-effective. Strokes available up to 1100mm.

Heavy Duty Telescopic Rails - L1988 Series

Our L1988 range is a heavy duty, compact, low profile, square shaped configuration that gives the slides similar load capacities for radial and axial loads. Available in profile sizes 28, 35, 43, and 63mm with loads up to 720Kg per rail and strokes up to over 2 metres!

Fully Telescopic Slides LTF- L1992 Series

Light duty telescopic slides. Still from cold-drawn steel but with unhardened raceways making these parts robust but less expensive than our other telescopic rails. Available in strokes to just over 1 metre.

Ultra Heavy Duty Telescopic Rails - L1995 Series

These slides are relatively compact in design, but can handle some big loads up to 550Kg per rail and strokes to just over 2 metres. They have induction hardened raceways for long-life.

Fully Telescopic Slides - L1985 Series

Rugged, heavy duty telescopic railes with larger roller bearings instead of ball bearings with wipers that clear the rail. This makes them suitable for use where dirt or other contaminants might be present and otherwise impede motion with other rails.

Stainless Medium Duty Full Extension - L1989 Series

These stainless steel rails are corrosion resistant and use a bearing and wiper arrangement to defend against contaminants such as dirt. This makes them ideal for use for pharmaceutical, medical, washdown and other similar applications where protection against both corrosion and contaminants is necessary.

Extended Stroke Telescopic Slides - L1997 Series

Very heavy duty, corrosion resistant telescopic rails with strokes of over 150% closed length. They feature a high load capacity and stiffness. Special extension ranges are available on request.

Extended Stroke Telescopic Slides (Ultra Heavy Duty) - L1998 Series

Our heaviest duty extended stroke rails, with a solid steel intermediate element and strokes of over 150% closed length. They require left and right hands to be specified
