Linear rails, Linear tables

When deciding on the correct ball transfer unit the best place to start is to calculate the load to be carried, then measure the base of the load (e.g. let's say 500mm x 1000mm). The distance between the ball transfer units can then be calculated as follows (smallest base dimension/2.5). In the above example this would be 500mm/2.5 = 200mm. To then determine the load rating required per units take the total weight and divide by 3 (eg weight 300/3 = load capacity required per unit = 100Kg).

P1630 - these are our most cost-effective ball transfer units. They are supplied with housing diameter from 16mm to 30mm in zinc plated steel or stainless steel.
P1632 - large flange (or Saturn) ball transfer units are cost, effective, low-profile and light weight. The have two holes on the flanges for fixing the part in place. Steel or stainless steel versions.
P1634 - these are machined from solid steel or stainless steel material with an accurate outside diameter and a flange. The design minimises possible damage to the ball unit. A hole in the base allows for re-lubrication if required.
P1636 - these units have no flange and are re-machined from solid steel or stainless steel. As the unit has no flange the full load is supported on the bottom face which needs to sit flush. These have relatively large sizes and heavier carry capacity
P1637 - these are very heavy duty ball transfer units. Some version with base mount and others with flange mount. The recirculating balls run on a case-hardened and polished steel dish, sealed in a solid steel housing.
P1638 - these ball transfer units are mounted on spring washers. The ball units depress when exceeding the supported load, this ensures that contact is maintained/shared across all supporting units
P1650-P1656 - solid rollers made from neoprene, white nitrile or urethane. Designed to protect components when being transferred, they are rugged, wear resistant and smooth. Used on conveyors, racks etc. Standard or shaft driven units. 1" to 4" dia.
P1657-P1658 - these rollers are specially designed to provide "flex" for firm yet non-damaging pressure. White nitrile rollers are chemical resistant and non-marring. They come as standard units or shaft driven units. From 2.5" to 4" diameter.
P1662-P16666 - finned rollers are supplied in diameters from 2" to 4" in black neoprene, white nitrile or urethane. Supplied as the single unit or unit set up for shaft drive.

We keep a LARGE STOCK of ball transfer units. If not immediately ex-stock then delivery is normally only a few days. We offer discounts for quantity purchases.

Cad files of our parts are available in 3D cad (normally in .sat or .step files).  We can also make special anti-vibration parts (depending on volumes) and have a technical team on hand to discuss your requirements tel. 0044-(0)1483 286677.
