Telescopic Slides
If you are not requiring very heavy-duty rails then you will find that these rails are too expensive for your less heavy-duty application.
Unlike most other telescopic rails (that are made from pressed steel section), our telescopic rails are made from cold-drawn steel and have hardened raceways so they can take very heavy loads.
As a result we cannot hold these in stock – they are made to order. Orders for less than 10 pieces are typically on a 2-3 week lead time and for higher quantities on a 4 week lead time.
Normally when selecting telescopic rails the first thing to consider is how far the rail is required to be moved, and the length available in which to move it.
Partial telescopic rails (say with a 60% stroke) are generally less expensive than fully telescopic rails (100%+ stroke), and can take heavier loads.
The least expensive of our fully telescopic rails are the L1992 rails as these do not have hardened raceways.
The fully telescopic rails come in a variety of profiles – these are often important to customers due to height or width restrictions. All these rails have a very small amount of deflection.
We have a large warehouse with automated stock parts storage, as well as a rail cutting facility.
We hold a large amount of stock and aim to despatch your orders on the same day.

To make things easier we have most of our telescopic rails available in 3D cad formats (Sat, Step, Iges etc).
These are normally available direct from the product page on the website – please let us know if you don’t find what you are looking for.
If you are unsure of which telescopic rail to select then please phone or email us and we will come back to you promptly.

L1984 DS Series Heavy-Duty Telescopic Rails - 100% Extension
Our DS series is a very thin, yet heavy-duty, fully telescopic rail (100% extension).
- It comes in 4 different sizes 28 ,35, 43 and the very large 63 versions.
- The stroke range is from 300mm to 2 metres!
- Load capacity is from a relatively light 50Kg to an impressive 750Kg! (per rail).
- The rails have zinc coating as standard but can be specially plated against corrosion and supplied with stainless steel ball bearings.
L1994 ASN Series Heavy-Duty Telescopic Rails - 50%+ Extension.
These are very strong, cold-drawn steel telescopic rails that typically extend to 50% of their length but this can be extended to a maximum of 65%.
- Their unique arangement allow them to be also use in a double stroke method - i.e. stroking one way and then back the other way.
- They are very rigid with small amounts of deflection, and are available in 22, 28, 35, 43 and 63mm section versions.
- Loads from 30Kg to 3 tons! (per rail).
L1996 DMS Ultra Heavy-Duty Telescopic Rails - 100% Extension
This is our heaviest-duty version telescopic rails - they are VERY heavy-duty, with a minimum rail length of a metre (and 1 metre stroke), carrying a load of up to 800Kg (per rail!).
- The longest 2.2 metre versions (with 2.2 metre stroke) can carry a load of nearly 2 tons per rail!
- On request we can also supply these in double direction stroke versions.
L1997/8 Very Heavy-Duty Telescopic Rails - 150% Extension
These are specifically heavy-duty telescopic rails with 150% extension.
Minimum extensions for these rails is a 500mm rail length extending to 830mm, and maximum 2 metre length extending to 3 metres!
- Loads range from 130Kg to nearly 500Kg (per rail).
L1992 - Lighter-Duty but still very strong
This series is the least expensive of our heavy-duty rails.
They are still made from cold-drawn steel, but in this case to reduce the cost, the raceways are not hardened - making them a bit less expensive thatn oour other rails.
They have 100% stroke and range from 200mm to 1 metre (with loads of up to 65Kg per rail).
